This site is dedicated to showcasing the different projects of Adam Simmons and providing regular news of forthcoming events. Adam plays saxophones, clarinets and flutes in all styles of music, with a focus on original jazz and improvised music.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Adam has been released on numerous CD's, tours regularly to Europe, USA, Australia and the Pacific. At any time Adam is always working with between 5-10 groups as a regular member so this site will help keep up to date with what groups are playing where, when and what.

Whoops - sorry -its been so long!! Last update was actually in June last year - things have been a bit too busy it seems... Bit of a quick update... solo tour last June was great fun, had a tour with Laia Genc's Liaison Tonique (Germany) around Australia in Oct/Nov and I became a visual artist, exhibiting my sculptural music boxes at Guildford Lane Gallery and signed by Catherine Asquith Gallery.

March 27 - Ballarat Acoustic Music Festival - I'm doing two solo sets for this inaugural fest - come celebrate Earth Hour!!
May 2 - Embers with Peter Brotzmann & Han Bennink - a special collaboration as part of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival June 29 - July 18 - Debut solo exhibition of artworks at Catherine Asquith Gallery - I'm very excited about this!! Visit myspace for some pics.
